Substitute Teacher (on-call/as needed)

About the role

Fieldcrest CUSD#6 seeks substitute teacher aides and substitute teachers to cover for regular staff during illness or professional development.

Responsibilities

• Able to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Able to sit, stand, kneel, and walk as necessary to complete essential elements of the position.
• Able to write and speak or otherwise reasonably communicate with students, staff members, and parents.
• Able to perform the performance responsibilities as listed below.
• Reports to the building principal.

Qualifications

• New applicants must hold a Professional Educator License or a Substitute Teaching License.

• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

• Ability to write and speak or otherwise reasonably communicate.
• Ability to perform the listed responsibilities.

Benefits

• Coverage for Certified Teachers: $140/day for up to 10 consecutive days in the same classroom, $235/day for 11+ consecutive days in the same classroom.
• Coverage for Teacher Assistants (by licensed teacher): $17.50/hr.
• Coverage for Teaching Assistants (by parapro licensed substitute): $16.25/hr.

Pay
