The Saddleback Valley Unified School District (SVUSD) is a public school district located in South Orange County, California. The district serves approximately 23,000 students in grades preschool through adult education across 33 school sites.

Requirements

• California Multiple Subject, Single Subject, Education Specialist Instruction, Pupil Personnel Services, or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit.
• Submit a screenshot from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) of your current credential. The screenshot must include:
  • Credential description
  • Document number
  • Expiration date
  • EL or CLAD (if applicable)
• Do not submit the certificate version of the credential or an expired credential.
• All attachments must be submitted with an EdJoin online application.
• Fingerprint clearance – Clearing House fingerprints must be current and on file at OCDE. Fingerprinting may be obtained through the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE), 200 Kalmus Drive, Costa Mesa. Call (714) 966-4306 to schedule an appointment.
• SVUSD student teachers should not apply to this posting.

Pay

• Single rate: $165 per day / $82.50 half day
• $195 per day for long-term assignments starting on the 11th consecutive day
