Substitute Teacher

About the Role

Ridgeview Classical Schools is seeking qualified, experienced substitute teachers to join its substitute pool for the 2025-2026 academic year. Candidates should indicate their preferred grades and any subjects of expertise when applying. While Ridgeview cannot guarantee availability of preferred assignments, it aims to match experienced candidates with preferred assignments whenever possible.

All substitutes will initially be classified as "Tier 2" but may be ranked and compensated higher based on their ability to provide high-quality continuity of instruction in the classroom, pending approval by the Academic Dean.

Qualifications

• Tier 2 Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Adheres to all Ridgeview policies and procedures
• Tier 1 Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Adheres to all Ridgeview policies and procedures
  • Approved by the Academic Dean

Pay

• Tier 2 Compensation:
  • $75 per half day (up to four hours)
  • $150 per full day (4+ hours)
• Tier 1 Compensation:
  • $100 per half day (up to four hours)
  • $200 per full day (4+ hours)
