In order to be employed as a per diem substitute teacher, an individual must hold a four-year Bachelor's degree or at least 60 credit hours from an accredited institution of higher learning.

- Official Transcripts documenting proof of bachelor's or master's degree
- NYS Teaching Certification or documentation of eligibility of NYS Certification
