Substitute Teacher
The role
The Dwight School seeks a substitute teacher to join our dynamic and inclusive community for the 26-27 school year.
Responsibilities
- Teach a range of learners in various subjects
- Assist students using educational technology tools such as Zoom, Google Classroom, and Canvas
- Contribute positively to the Dwight community
- Engage with and learn from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences
- Bring joy, kindness, maturity, and flexibility to the school environment
Requirements
- At least one year (1) prior teaching experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Special Education experience highly sought after
- Willingness to work Monday – Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Educational/classroom IT (Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas etc)
- Demonstrates a willingness to be a team player and participate in additional duties as assigned
