Substitute Teacher

The role

The Dwight School seeks a substitute teacher to join our dynamic and inclusive community for the 26-27 school year.

Responsibilities

• Teach a range of learners in various subjects
• Assist students using educational technology tools such as Zoom, Google Classroom, and Canvas
• Contribute positively to the Dwight community
• Engage with and learn from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Bring joy, kindness, maturity, and flexibility to the school environment

Requirements

• At least one year (1) prior teaching experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Special Education experience highly sought after
• Willingness to work Monday – Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Educational/classroom IT (Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas etc)
• Demonstrates a willingness to be a team player and participate in additional duties as assigned
