Substitute Teacher Aide/Paraprofessional

About the role

You'll work directly with SBJC classroom teachers and BCBAs to offer targeted teaching and support to the students in our classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Offer targeted teaching and support to students in SBJC classrooms
• Work closely with SBJC teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with individuals with special needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Driver’s License
• Passing score on a background check

• Positive attitude and ability to work with a diverse population
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
