Substitute Teacher - 2026-2027 School Year

About the role

The Arlington Public Schools seeks qualified substitute teachers to work on a per diem basis to cover for classroom teachers, special educators and specialists who are absent from the District. Pay is $120 per day.

Responsibilities

• Work with children in elementary and middle school settings
• Use an automated system, Frontline Technologies Absence Management, for substitute assignments

Requirements

• Experience with and a love for working with children

Qualifications

• References will be needed for consideration, but can be listed now if comfortable
