About the role
The City of Altoona seeks a Substitute School Crossing Guard to ensure the safety of school students.
Responsibilities
- Provide safety to school students at various locations within the City of Altoona
- Work on an as-needed basis when regular Crossing Guards are unavailable
- Work typical hours of Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. - 9:30 A.M. and afternoons between 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
