Substitute Preschool Teacher (Part-Time / Flexible Schedule)
About the role
Join O2B Kids as a Substitute Teacher and jump into classrooms when it works for you! If you're interested in working in the early education field but can't commit to a consistent Monday-Friday full-time schedule, this flexible role allows you to pick up shifts as needed while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. You may find yourself helping in classrooms with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or pre-K students depending on the needs of the school that day. No two days are the same, but every day you'll help create a positive, engaging environment where young children can learn, explore, and have fun.
The ideal candidate has specific days of open availability, consistent blocks of morning availability, or consistent blocks of afternoon availability.

Responsibilities
- Support classrooms working with children ages infant-5 years old
- Follow lesson plans and curriculum provided by classroom teachers
- Maintain licensing and safety requirements
- Assist with required assessments and observations when applicable
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Engage children in fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate activities
Requirements
- Training and experience are preferred, but we are willing to train and support education through scholarships
- CDA, Associate's Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred but not required)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with children ages 0-13 (preferred but not required)
- Ability to be flexible and available to pick up shifts as needed
- Comfortable working with different age groups depending on the needs of the school
- Reliable transportation to travel to assigned school locations when scheduled
- Willing to train!

Pay
Salary Range: $15.00 - $22.00 / hour (based on experience, qualifications, and precise position)
