Substitute Preschool Teacher (Part-Time / Flexible Schedule)

Love working with kids but need a flexible schedule? Join O2B Kids as a Substitute Teacher and jump into classrooms when it works for you! O2B Kids, part of O2B Early Education, started in Gainesville, FL in 1998 and has expanded to serve families across multiple states, including Missouri, with more locations coming soon. If you’re interested in early education but can’t commit to a full-time Monday–Friday schedule, this role might be perfect for you. We’re seeking substitute teachers who enjoy working with children and can support our schools on an as-needed basis. This flexible position allows you to choose shifts that fit your schedule while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Support classrooms with children ages infant–5 years old
- Follow lesson plans and curriculum provided by classroom teachers
- Maintain licensing and safety requirements
- Assist with assessments and observations as needed
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Help keep the classroom clean and organized
- Engage children in fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate activities
Requirements
- Training and experience preferred, but willing to train and support education through scholarships
- CDA, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with children ages 0–13 (preferred)
- Flexibility to pick up shifts as needed
- Comfortable working with different age groups
- Reliable transportation to assigned school locations

Pay
Salary Range: $15.00 - $22.00 / hour (based on experience, qualifications, and precise position)
