About the Role

Responsible for providing classroom instruction and positive interaction with students and colleagues. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Occasional lifting, five (5) to fifty (50) pounds
• Frequent bending, stooping, walking, standing, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, and sitting

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team
• Plan and implement instruction consistent with the preschool curriculum and mandated components
• Cooperate with the special education team to help special education children meet Individual Educational Plan goals
• Cooperate with team members to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans for at-risk students
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
• Perform toileting duties and life skills instruction
• Participate in ongoing formal and informal staff development
• Maintain data collection regarding student progress/performance, including confidential reports and information
• Use formal and informal methods to assess the abilities and needs of students

Requirements

• First Aid & CPR Certification - American Heart Association
• Group Leader Qualified - Colorado Department of Human Services
• High School diploma or equivalent

Pay

$22.74 USD hourly (full-time rate; part-time salaries are prorated based on assigned FTE).

Schedule

• Primary Location: Mountain View
• Scheduled Hours Per Week: 40
• FTE: 1.00
• Not a one-year-only position
