Substitute Part-time Day Care Staff

About the role

This position includes all day care staff duties.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Supervising and engaging children in play, learning, and socialization
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
• Changing diapers and supporting potty training efforts
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the childcare area
• Effective communication with parents regarding their child's day

Requirements

• Experience in a preschool or classroom setting with an understanding of early childhood development
• Strong caregiving skills
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques
• The ability to create stimulating and educational environments for children

Qualifications

• Desired skills include:
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous babysitting or childcare experience
• A passion for working with children
