About the Role

This position supports students in general education and/or special education classrooms and programs at both the elementary and secondary levels under the direct supervision of a certified teacher.

Reliability and schedule availability throughout the school year are expected for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and supporting the teacher(s) in the classroom setting
• Assisting with supervision of student(s) across various settings throughout the school day
• Assisting and supporting student(s) with academic and behavioral needs
• Working collaboratively with faculty and staff

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma
• Prior experience working with children
• Reliability and schedule availability throughout the school year
