About the role

The Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) is the fourth-largest school district in California, located in southern Sacramento County. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist students with self-care activities such as grooming, feeding, and toileting in a K–12 setting.

Requirements

  • Experience preferred or other related training.
  • Strong knowledge and skills to support in K–12.
  • Certification (must attach one of the following):
    • Transcripts with 48 semester units or more with a C- or better.
    • Paraeducator Certificate such as NCLB or ESSA (No Child Left Behind or Every Student Succeeds Act).
    • CBEST (California Basic Educational Skills Test).
