Substitute Food Service Helper 2026-2027

Responsibilities

• Receive state and federal clearance based on a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check.
• Lift 40 lb. cases of meat, milk and canned food.
• Lift & carry heavy pans of food in/out of oven & hot cabinet.
• Lift, bend, push, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Prepare and serve food in accordance with health & sanitation regulations.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely & efficiently.
• Understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Maintain food service equipment and areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Work with children of all ages.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
