About the role

Highgate Hotels seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Hotel Manager. This position will be based at either Millennium Premier or Millennium Times Square, depending on the successful candidate's preference.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations including housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
• Manage the financial performance of the hotel, ensuring profitability and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel and attract new business.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and hotel policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, preferably in luxury or high-end settings.
• Proven ability to manage a team effectively and motivate staff to achieve goals.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with revenue management systems and hotel software.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Driver’s License.
• Passport and ability to travel internationally may be required for certain positions.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and management best practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
