About the Role

This role involves performing custodial duties to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment in school facilities.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors, dusting, and disinfecting fixtures
• Washing windows and arranging furnishings
• Preparing the school for daily operations
• Adhering to cleaning schedules
• Responding to safety concerns
• Reporting facility issues
• Maintaining professionalism

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform various physical tasks
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Good stakeholder service skills
• Willingness to attend professional development sessions
• Completion of background checks and health assessments
• Provide references
• Maintain regular attendance
• Aged 21 or older (or 20 if enrolled in college)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in school or municipal cleaning
• Knowledge of minor repairs of heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing systems
