Substitute Cosmetology Instructor

Requirements

Applicant must have a current Utah Cosmetology License. If you have a current Utah Cosmetology License and are willing to get your instructor license to join our team as a substitute, you can contact State Board of Cosmetology at 1-801-530-6628 or their website at dopl.utah.gov/cosm to find out the steps you will need to take to get your Instructor license. Those wanting to apply for instructor license must have worked 3,000 hours before applying or have had 400 hours on the job training from an instructor. Description

Kane District Cosmetology Program - Substitute Cosmetology Instructor. Substitute Cosmetology Instructor to work through Snow College, classes to be held in Kanab for high school students and possibly adults from the community based on space availability. Applicant must pay for and pass a background check and complete the online SafeSchools training (will receive pay for 3 hours approx. to complete training).
