Description
Substitute cooks and kitchen help as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation
- Assist in daily cleaning of food preparation and service areas
- Aid in cashier responsibilities as needed
- Interact with students on a regular basis
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Follow standard operating procedures
Qualifications
- Kitchen experience a plus
- Computer knowledge a must
- High school diploma
- Interest in cooking and working with children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Must provide own transportation
Working Conditions
- Requires lifting and carrying up to 36 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds
- To climb ladders, stoop, bend, kneel to put away supplies
- To balance large trays
- Strong vision and hearing for communication with students and staff and for proper preparation of food and reading labels
