This is a School Employees Retirement System position for Substitute Cafeteria Helpers-Child Nutrition.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must satisfactorily complete Bureau of Criminal Investigation and FBI background checks.
- Dependable transportation.
- Landline or cell phone.
- Desired Foodservice experience.
Position Description
This position is routine, but responsible work in the preparation of meals for school cafeterias. It involves basic mathematics, computer, and money handling skills; performing various physical tasks related to food preparation, service and cleaning; working quickly, accurately, and neatly; following all food safety and sanitation requirements; interacting in a positive manner with students, faculty, and coworkers; operating foodservice equipment, computerized register; frequent and regular requirement to lift (40 lbs.), stand for extended periods, walk, talk, hear, see, read, speak, stand, bend, reach and stoop.
