Substation Engineering Manager
About the role
The Substation Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in the operations of the production section, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support. They will also assist in project management, client relations, and marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support
- Function as an Assistant Project Manager and assist in responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities
- Avoid administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections
- Involvement in marketing planning, proposals and interviews
- Directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues
- Affirmation of ensuring that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system
- Implementation, monitoring and support of company policy
- Affordance of assistance in the selection, training, development and management of technical personnel
- Cooperation with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts
- Performance of other duties as needed
Requirements
- Preference given to local candidates
- Experience working for an A/E/C consulting firm
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 7 years experience
- Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
