Substance Use Counselor

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to clients.
• Conduct assessments and screenings to evaluate client needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Deliver case management services and coordinate community support services.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support clients in their recovery and stability journeys.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential.
• Associate’s degree in human services or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Knowledge of addiction, recovery, counseling, and case management.
• Experience working with justice-involved populations is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
