Substance Use Counselor

About the role

We are seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide individual and group counseling services for adults in a new residential treatment program.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, screenings, treatment planning, and referrals
• Deliver case management and coordinate community support services
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients' recovery and stability

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential
• Associate's degree in human services or a related field (bachelor's preferred)
• Knowledge of addiction, recovery, and case management principles
