Substance Abuse Counselor 115 ,

Responsibilities

• Conduct substance abuse assessments
• Make appropriate impressions regarding client’s needs for substance abuse treatment
• Make recommendations to appropriate level of care based on ASAM criteria and Level of Care Index
• Case management
• Obtain urine specimens for testing
• Data input into agency database

Requirements

• Only those with a CADC or who have passed the written test towards the CADC will be considered
• Freshman in counseling program or equivalent
• Fluent in Spanish preferred
• Pass a pre-employment background check
• Have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history
