About the role
PABCO, Building Products LLC. is looking for a Subsidiary HR Coordinator at our Admin office in Rancho Cordova. This position provides centralized administrative HR support to the locations in one or more of the following areas: recruiting, employee relations, compensation, and/or training & development.
This position is responsible for providing administrative support in human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with subsidiary objectives and federal and state legal requirements. The Job Demonstrates the company values and supports management and HR team to ensure behavior within the location/division is consistent with the company values.
Responsibilities
- Gain credibility by building collaborative relationships with the locations and with counterparts at other subsidiaries.
- Responsible for providing HR administrative support.
- Compensation Administration, including updating and maintaining job descriptions and salary ranges.
- Training Administration, including entering records of employee training completed.
- HR Systems Administration, including producing regular reports, system testing, and support with timekeeping.
- May assist in coordinating special events, including Annual Benefit Meetings, training events, Christmas events, company picnics, retirement parties, Adopt-A-Family, health screenings, etc.
- May support with developing and implementing subsidiary initiatives, in areas of expertise, in support of HR and overall company strategy.
- May be requested to gather and analyze various HR-related data for process improvement and program success measurements.
- May support wellness administration, including company-wide challenges, events, and research as needed.
- Coordinates pre-hire activities, including employee physicals, offer letters, background checks, and drug screens
- Screens and interviews potential candidates and makes recommendations regarding suitability for the position.
- Coordinates new hire efforts: new hire paperwork, orientation, payroll, and timekeeping.
- Supports locations in recruiting marketing efforts, managing recruiting campaigns, and evaluating campaign effectiveness.
- Monitors temp agency relationships and contracts.
- All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- College degree (GED); and
- Three (3) or more years related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PHR certification preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish Preferred
Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, co-workers and vendors.

Pay
Compensation Wage: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour (based on experience).
