Responsibilities
- Representing clients in state and federal courts throughout all phases of litigation
- Investigating and evaluating complex property losses arising from fires, explosions, product failures, construction defects, equipment failures, utility incidents, and other catastrophic events
- Collaborating with forensic engineers, fire investigators, accountants, and other experts to develop recovery strategies
- Drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs
- Taking and defending depositions
- Preparing for and appearing at court hearings
- Participating in mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
- Maintaining effective communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
Requirements
- Strong litigation, analytical, writing, and advocacy skills
- Able to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a team-oriented practice
- Experience in property damage, insurance, construction, product liability, commercial litigation, or subrogation matters preferred
- An insurance background is a plus
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing in Colorado

Benefits
- The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $195,000 with the opportunity for a significant performance bonus
