Subject Matter Expert (SME) -Production – Clinton, IA This is an exempt, onsite Supervisory Position Position Summary: Assists in leading a work group of employees in the production area. Emphasizes and requires safety and compliance with all state and federal laws & regulations in the performance of all work. Develop employees and promote a work climate where they do their best. Leads by example fostering an atmosphere of trust and cooperation. Openly communicates information to others. Works with other supervisors and members of management to coordinate the use of Company resources in keeping with established policies, procedures, and plant priorities. Job Responsibilities Assist employees when they need help.Walk long distances, climb ladders and stairs, order suppliesManage their shift, trouble shoot process and mechanical problemsWork closely with the Department SuperintendentComplete timely paperworkConduct department audits and employee safety auditsGive daily toolbox safety meetingsSupervise hourly employees. Required Skills: Knowledge of materials, methods, terminology, equipment and tools used in the maintenance and repair of manufacturing structures and systems.Previous work experience managing people and maintenance activities.Ability to lead and supervise a team Education Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
