Responsibilities

• Carry out Sub Contract Machining activities
• Study engineering drawings for machining and evaluate cycle time
• Float enquiry for machining job orders and receive offers
• Arrive machining prices by comparing three quote machining offers
• Release Purchase Order (PO) for subcontract machining and expedite machining activities
• Cookordinate with PED team and supplier for providing tools and fixtures
• Ensure performance tracking of suppliers on quality and delivery parameters
• Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders
• Track the status of General Receipt Notification (GRN) preparation and Quality Control (QC) acceptance for procured castings
• Provide the status of various orders to the Central Planning team
• Aid in preparing Procurement MIS and other reports
• Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems
• Support all material cost reduction initiatives for the category(s)
