CNC Lathe Machining

Location: Fort Wayne, IN, USA

This position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to fabricate PTFE parts.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Perform own job set up.
• Use measuring equipment such as scales, micrometers, PI tapes, optical comparators, and calipers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
• Participate in, and continuously improve, the facility’s certification programs (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AS9100, etc.) to achieve plant goals and objectives.
• Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
• Conduct 2nd operation machining.
• Count and kit components for shipment.
• Operate manual lathe and drill press as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• For internal candidates: 1 year of seniority with the company OR certification in Machining, CNC machining, Machine Technology, or completion of a relevant program.
• For external candidates:
  • Certification in Machining, CNC machining, Machine Technology, or completion of a relevant program.
  • 2 years of experience in Machining for 5★ consideration.
  • 3 years of experience in Machining for 6★ consideration.
