Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience, with at least 1+ years in Supply Chain Management (Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management).
  • A US Citizen.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a US TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

This role supports robust, efficient, and fast program startup & execution for Lockheed Martin Space's supply chain strategy. Key responsibilities include developing subcontract specifications, preparing bid packages, conducting evaluations, negotiating subcontract provisions, and participating in developing subcontract policies and procedures.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
  • Experience working high complexity/high dollar value contracts.
  • Previous experience with procurement processes and regulations under DoD (FAR, DFAR, TINA, and/or ITAR).
  • Knowledge of SAP/P2P Purchasing System, PO Folders, procedures.
  • Experience with management of Cost, Technical, Schedule, Risk and Opportunity.
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure.
  • Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership, and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
