STYLIST

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a warm smile and professional attitude, suggesting the best services based on their needs and preferences.
• Perform a wide range of haircuts, hair coloring, and styling services that leave guests feeling amazing.
• Work closely with guests to assess their hair needs, listen to their ideas, and offer your expert advice on styles, color treatments, and maintenance.
• Record detailed SOAP notes for each guest, including preferences, allergies, and treatment options to ensure the highest level of personalized service.
• Share your knowledge of hair care products and actively pursue daily sales goals to boost product sales and contribute to the overall success of the spa.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation to ensure a smooth and professional service for every guest.
• Work with a supportive team to uphold the spa’s standards and maintain a welcoming, relaxing environment for all guests.
• Stay on top of current beauty trends, techniques, and licensing requirements to keep your skills sharp and provide top-notch service.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Cosmetology License with the state of Oklahoma.
• Have 2+ years of experience as a hair stylist, preferably in a hotel/resort spa setting.
• A true love for hairstyling, coloring, and creating fabulous looks that make guests feel beautiful and confident.
• The ability to educate guests on products and treatments, and drive retail sales.
• Be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts to accommodate guest needs.
• Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues, contribute to a positive work environment, and support the team’s goals.
• A polished appearance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make guests feel welcome and pampered.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform various physical tasks, including bending, reaching, and carrying up to 25 pounds.
