About the role

The Stylist Assistant will support the operations of Chicago Hair Imports Inc's River North/Gold Coast boutique salon and hair bar. The position offers an opportunity to transition into becoming a future full-time or part-time stylist.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests
• Shampooing clients
• Laundering fresh towels and smocks
• Answering the phone
• Scheduling appointments
• Restocking retail shelves
• Servicing walk-ins

Requirements

• Self-motivated top performers

• Ability to work with all textures of hair, especially textured hair

Qualifications

• Multicultural salon experience preferred
