About the role

We are looking for an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Style Advisor to join the Equinox team at our Santa Monica East location. This role is ideal for a candidate eager to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization. The Style Advisor delivers an unparalleled customer experience to all Equinox and Shop visitors, supports business strategy, and ensures operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Service
  • Achieve assigned monthly sales goals (individual contribution to total monthly store goal).
  • Ensure an unparalleled customer experience for all visitors to The Shop and Equinox.
  • Maintain knowledge of all club and Shop services, programs, and products.
• Operational Excellence
  • Understand and uphold all loss prevention and inventory management policies.
  • Ensure comprehension of all communication and training materials; assist Shop MOD with timely and accurate completion of operational tasks.
• Product & Presentation
  • Assist Shop MOD in maintaining brand standards through merchandising, marketing, and adherence to The Shop dress code.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and organizational standards on sales floors, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms.
• Professional Dimension
  • Build effective relationships with employees, colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
  • Maintain awareness of happenings and standards in other departments to encourage team spirit.
  • Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures; support company initiatives.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels with tact and diplomacy.

Requirements

• Ability to take direction.
• Experience in a customer service business, preferably in retail.
• Hardworking, diligent, with honesty and personal integrity.
• Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply new techniques and ideas.
• Availability to work a varied schedule based on retail business needs.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position, including standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.

Pay

$18.47 per hour, with the ability to earn additional incentives.
