Studio Manager

About the Role

Get paid to have fun hanging out with kids, 18 months to 12 years of age, as you help us run and promote our art studio for kids. We need enthusiastic, reliable, and creative individuals who enjoy making a mess and believe slime, clay, paint, and glitter should be a part of every young artist's life.

Studio Managers play a leadership role when the Studio Owner is not present, acting as liaisons between staff and customers to provide high-quality customer service. You will oversee day-to-day operations, including quality control and facility operations, and train, mentor, and advise studio employees to ensure optimal performance.

On occasion, you will also oversee classes and parties for kids ages 18 months–12 years, focusing on art education and providing a safe, fun, and educational experience. You will manage a staff of 10–25 part-time employees, playing a key role in hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplining staff members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day studio operations, including quality control and facility management
• Train, mentor, and advise studio employees
• Act as a liaison between staff and customers, ensuring high-quality customer service
• Supervise classes and parties for children ages 18 months–12 years
• Manage a team of 10–25 part-time employees (hiring, training, scheduling, and discipline)
• Handle sales and marketing initiatives
• Maintain supply inventory and invoicing
• Foster teamwork and a positive work environment

Requirements

• Available full-time
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and creative
• Enjoy working with kids and making a mess
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Leadership experience or ability to take charge in the Studio Owner’s absence
• Reliable transportation (skateboards, bikes, and roller skates are fun, but not sufficient)

Pay

$48,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year

40 hours per week (full-time)

Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for kids, specializing in children’s art classes, camps, and art-themed birthday parties.
