Student Worker - Veterans Advising Office

Duties

Maintain the cleanliness of the Veterans Connection Center and ensure supplies are kept stocked.

Maintain a food inventory list and provide a monthly update for reordering.

Address questions from Veteran Benefit Students utilizing the Veterans Connection Center.

Help Veterans & Military Advisor plan and set up events.

Aid Veterans & Military Advisor in creating, organizing, and maintaining new Veteran Benefit Student records to ensure compliance.

Special Skills Needed

• Organizational skills
• Customer service skills
• Basic computer skills

Requirements

• PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO VETERANS
• MUST BE A CURRENT HCC STUDENT FOR THE SUMMER/FALL 2026 SEMESTER
• MUST BE ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 6 CREDITS, UNLESS FIRST SEMESTER STUDENT
• MUST HAVE ATTAINED A 2.0 SEMESTER GPA DURING THE LAST SEMESTER ATTENDED
