Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in planning, promoting, and executing wellness programming events and targeted wellness education for students.
- Support and implement student wellness initiatives, including programs that promote mental health, increase access to supportive resources, and address basic needs such as food security.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive communication, marketing, and social media plan for the Be Well BU program.
- Create and deliver presentations about student well-being as requested.
- Collect and review pertinent assessment data in reports submitted on a weekly, per-semester, annual, and per-event basis.
Secondary Duties And Responsibilities
- Support collaboration among wellness departments, academic programs, student organizations, and other campus partners to promote a holistic approach to student well-being.
- Affiliate with program research needs.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and events that are partnered with Be Well BU.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Strong event planning, marketing, and communication skills required.
- Health promotion experience preferred.
- Skilled in utilizing social media, design, and other marketing platforms.
- Ability to work mainly during business hours and some evenings/weekends.
Required Education
Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. Graduate or undergraduate studies in Sports Administration, Public Health, Design, Media, Marketing, Leadership, or related health, business, communication, or educational field is preferred.
