Health Decoded is a student-led health education platform dedicated to making health information engaging, understandable, and accessible. Through evidence-based articles, health myths, medical mysteries, challenges, and other educational content, Health Decoded encourages curiosity and helps make complex health topics easier to understand.

Position Overview

Health Decoded is seeking curious, motivated, and responsible student volunteers to join our growing team. Volunteer Contributors will have the opportunity to contribute to student-friendly health education content while gaining experience in research, writing, healthcare communication, content creation, and outreach.

This is a flexible, remote volunteer opportunity designed for students interested in healthcare, public health, psychology, science, education, writing, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Researching health-related topics using credible sources
• Contributing to evidence-based articles and educational content
• Writing or editing student-friendly content
• Helping develop ideas for Health Decoded series, challenges, and projects
• Assisting with social media, outreach, or content promotion
• Participating in collaborative projects and team discussions
• Supporting Health Decoded's mission of making health information more accessible and engaging

Qualifications

We are looking for High School students who:

• Are interested in healthcare, science, public health, psychology, education, writing, or related fields
• Are curious, responsible, and willing to learn
• Can communicate professionally and work respectfully with others
• Are willing to use credible sources when contributing to health-related content
• Can complete assigned responsibilities within agreed-upon deadlines

Previous experience is not required. You do not need to be an expert to apply—we value curiosity, reliability, and a genuine interest in learning.
