About the role

A Student Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for providing ultrasound health care to the Pediatric Imaging Department through the performance of completing ultrasound examinations ordered by appropriate medical personnel under the direction of a registered ultrasound technologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide ultrasound health care to the Pediatric Imaging Department
• Complete ultrasound examinations ordered by appropriate medical personnel
• Work under the direction of a registered ultrasound technologist

Requirements

• A Senior student currently enrolled in an approved AMA school of ultrasound technology
• Academically: Grade point average must meet the equivalent of a “B” average
• Previous clinical rotation at the Children’s Hospital desirable

Qualifications

• Essential: Associates Degree in Radiology Technology
• Education with Equivalent Qualifications: Education with Equivalent Qualifications: Essential Associates Degree in Radiology Technology
