Student Teaching Assistant, Digital Media Design

About the role

This position would be a passionate and tech-savvy Electronic Music Teaching Assistant to support classes, workshops, and studio sessions focused on music production and sound design.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors during design classes and creative lab sessions.
• Help students navigate digital design software and creative tools.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware (tablets, cameras) and file exporting.
• Support project organization, asset management, and student feedback.
• Maintain the studio space to ensure a smooth, creative workflow.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of standard digital design and media creation tools.
• Solid understanding of visual fundamentals (layout, color, and digital media formats).
• Tech-comfortable and able to troubleshoot basic hardware/software issues.

• Reliable, organized, and enthusiastic about mentoring creative learners.
