Student - Instructional Assistant - Digital Media

About the role

Assist UVU Digital Media students and faculty in classroom and lab settings.

Responsibilities

• Assisting faculty with course-related tasks
• Grading assignments and tracking student performance
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be a current UVU student
• Previous knowledge and skills associated with the class
• Demonstrated knowledge in current operating systems and software applications
• Familiarity with Digital Media classrooms and equipment

Skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Effective interaction with faculty, staff, and fellow students
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of student records
• Strong time-management skills
• Proficiency in grading and tracking grades
• Skilled in software associated with the class they will be assisting
