About the role
The Design Program faculty seeks approximately 18 student Teaching Assistants for a variety of Design studio and lecture courses. Design TAs will work closely with faculty to plan and deliver an engaging course experience, and with students to foster creative growth and development of technical craft. Architecture students, including graduate students, are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist professor in class organization and planning, tracking attendance and assignment completion.
- Attend all class meetings.
- Host at least one office hour per week outside of class time.
- Communicate with students to answer questions and offer both creative and technical support.
- Engage students with course material through discussion and activities.
Schedule
Varies by course. All positions are in-person/on-campus (Uptown).
