Student Support Specialist - Upper Level

About the role

BASIS Chandler is seeking a Student Support Specialist - Upper Level for the 2026/27 school year. The position supports teachers, organizes student arrivals and dismissals, and manages behavior programs.

Responsibilities

• Supports teachers to resolve communication issues with parents and students
• Organizes students' arrival and dismissal
• Reviews and analyzes assessment results for new students and state-required assessments
• Maintains student discipline and documents incidents
• Communicates with parents about student performance and conduct
• Develops and executes academic and behavioral support plans
• Participates in faculty meetings and the planning of standardized assessments
• Builds positive relationships with parents and teachers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)
• 3-5 years experience in a school setting (charter or independent preferred)
• Experience in behavior management or related field preferred
