Registration
- Advise students regarding scheduling changes – understand drop/add, registration, billing, refund policies
- Schedule plan and register students for course load, process any registration changes
- Process permanent withdrawals/suspensions/administrative withdrawals including utilizing the withdrawal processor, ending of cluster, ending of advisor, and notification in Student Remarks
- Process Leave of Absence (LOA) requests
- Monitor, update, change anticipated graduation date as registration changes occur in order to identify potential graduates for each conferral
- Use outreach time table to communicate to students about upcoming graduation date, registering for graduation, ordering cap and gown
- Certify for graduation
Engagement
- Regulate and enforce Seminary Engagement Policy with all students via IT developed engagement report and communication with professors
- Communicate with students regarding lack of engagement
- Administratively withdraw students who have violated engagement policy
- Track administrative withdrawals for repeat offenders
Qualifications
- According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in office settings preferred
- Required Skills: Superior oral and written communication skills in English, Excellent computer skills with working experience in a variety of applications, especially Word and Excel, Ability to relate and interact well with pastors, ministerial students, Seminary faculty/staff, and IWU community, Excellent organizational skills, Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with FERPA laws
