Student: Shipping and Receiving Assistant
Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a detailed and proactive student to assist with shipping and receiving functions in our Property Office.
Responsibilities
- Assists with shipping and receiving, including material handling, packaging, inventory management, and record keeping
- Processes, delivers, and picks up incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintains mail distribution boxes throughout SDL’s campus
- Performs data entry
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be a Utah State University student
- Must have at least one year of school remaining
- Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week during semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summer
- Must have a strong work ethic, dedication, and sense of ownership; must be self-directed and motivated
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other productivity tools
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely
