Student Services Manager

About the role

The Student Services Manager will report directly to the [HIRING MANAGER TITLE] and will provide professional support services to prospective and current Year Up United students. The role involves monitoring and supporting students’ success throughout the program by assessing external readiness factors and intervening as appropriate to assist with barrier mitigation and reduction. This includes direct case management support, building internal program capacity for student services, and expanding access to external resources for counseling and related social services.

Responsibilities

• Participate in prospective student engagement activities to identify students who will be successful in the Year Up United program
• Conduct one-on-one interviews and assessments of prospective students to assess readiness and Year Up United’s ability to support them through the program
• Conduct Onboarding Student Support Plan interviews and written plans for conditionally accepted students
• Collaborate with site-based staff to address student needs and barriers by sourcing community supports and referring students to resources (e.g.,
