Student Services Coordinator

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison for CTC Students
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Maintain record keeping of services provided
• Complying with reports to MDE and other agencies in a timely manner
• Able to supervise high school students in a classroom setting, student organization activities and competitions
• Must work cooperatively with current Hinds CTC instructors
• Must possess or be willing to acquire bus driving certification
• Others duties as assigned

Salary Range

Salary Range: Teacher base pay aligned with MDE/ depends on experience

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education
• Teacher license in one of the following areas:
• Endorsement Subject Area/Major 117 Elementary Education (4-8)
• 119 English (7-12)
• 154 Mathematics (7-12)
• 174 Remedial Reading (K-12)
• 177 English as a Second Language (K-12)
• 206 Emotional Disability (K-12)
• 207 Gifted (K-12)
• 221 Mild/Moderate Disability (K-12)
• 224 Mild/Moderate Disability (7-12)

Technology Literacy and Related Assessment

Must validate Technology Competency during the first year of license with an assessment approved by MDE.
