Student Services Coordinator

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
• Valid Texas teaching certificate required
• Demonstrated leadership experience as a department chair, instructional coach, team leader, mentor teacher, instructional specialist, or in a similar campus leadership role preferred
• Strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, classroom management, and student behavior supports
• Knowledge of Texas education laws, district policies, and best practices related to student services and campus operations
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community members
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment

Special Knowledge/Skills

• Strong instructional coaching and mentoring skills
• Knowledge of adolescent development and effective behavior management
• Ability to analyze academic, attendance, and behavioral data to guide interventions
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with students and staff
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment

Experience

• Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience
