Student Rotation: Assisted Living, Memory Care Setting

About the role

Engage Senior Therapy provides on-site physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services to senior living communities across New England. Our team delivers compassionate, relationship-centered care to help patients maintain mobility, independence, and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with Clinical Instructors (CIs) to treat a variety of conditions and diagnoses, including arthritis, chronic pain, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, pre/post surgery, sports injuries, vestibular and balance, and women’s health.
• Offer programs for activities of daily living, fall prevention, functional mobility, movement disorders, orthopedic injuries, vestibular and balance to a geriatric population in Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.
• Ask questions, engage with patients, and immerse yourself in the practical aspects of your field.
• Immerse yourself in a transformative and enriching experience that helps you understand what great patient care is and prepares you to make a positive impact in your future career.

Requirements

*Must be currently enrolled and attending school for Physical Therapy/Physical Therapy Assistance, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Passion for providing compassionate, relationship-centered care.
