Assisted Living Memory Support Programming and Engagement Coordinator
About the role
The role at Episcopal Church Home focuses on providing high-quality care and support to residents in various living options including independent, residential, assisted living, memory care, long-term care, and short-term rehab. The position also involves managing the Center for Memory Support & Inclusion and overseeing Deupree Meals On Wheels and Swipe 'N' Dine services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of the Center for Memory Support & Inclusion
- Manage Deupree Meals On Wheels and Swipe 'N' Dine services
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident care and satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery
- Conduct regular assessments of living environments and services
- Train and supervise staff members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare, social work)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior living or related field
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in senior care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
