Student Resp Therapist - Respiratory Care

Responsibilities

• Perform various respiratory care procedures for acute care for all age groups under indirect supervision of a licensed respiratory care professional.
• Report to: Manager

Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory Care registry program
• Required Licenses: [Ohio, United States]
• Other: Candidate must have a current limited permit to practice respiratory care issued by Ohio.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate skills in all Patient Care Areas of the Hospital.
• Demonstrate knowledge as it relates to cardiopulmonary disease states.
• Active AARC member preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge and competency of modalities as verified by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
• Current BLS for respective work area.
• Works under the supervision of a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver care to the respiratory patient.
